Whipped Feta

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Feta Cheese block-style, not crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Lemon Juice juice from one lemon
  • 1 dash Salt and Pepper optional
  • 1 dash Garlic Powder optional

Instructions

  1. Add feta, Greek yogurt, olive oil, and lemon juice to a food processor. Blend until smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides once or twice.

  2. Add garlic powder if you want a savory bite. Season with salt and pepper if needed (remember feta is naturally salty!).

  3. Spoon onto a shallow bowl or plate and use the back of your spoon to create swoops and swirls.

  4. Drizzle with olive oil and finish with your choice of toppings. For the holidays I like to serve it topped with Pomegranate salsa (pomegranate seeds, cilantro, jalapeno, red onion, lime juice).

  5. Serve immediately with pita, bread, or veggies.
