Grilled Strawberry PB & J Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 8 Strawberries
  • 4 Slices of Bread
  • 4 tbsp Peanut Butter

Instructions

  1. Wash your strawberries and cut the tops off. Skewer them or add to vegtable grilling basket. Pre-heat your grill to medium. Add your strawberry skewers to the grill over a low flame. Close the cover to keep the heat in and grill for about 10 minutes. Make sure to flip them half way through to grill both sides.

  2. While the strawberries are grilling you can also toast your bread on the grill. After your bread has toasted add a layer of peanut butter.

  3. Remove the strawberries from the grill and allow them to cool sightly. While the berries are still warm slice them in half and add onto your peanut butter sandwich. The grilled berries will be soft and squishy. The grilled fruit will melt into the peanut butter all warm and gooey.
