Vegan Blackberry Cobbler

Ingredients

  • 2 cups blackberries
  • 1 cup vegan sugar
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup melted vegan butter
  • 1 cup plantbased milk

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl gently combine the blackberries with the sugar. Then set to the side and let it sit for about 10 minutes.

  2. Pre-heat the oven to 350.

  3. In a second mixing bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  4. Then add 1/2 cup of melted vegan butter and one cup of plantbased milk to the flour. Mix the batter well.

  5. Pour the batter into a 10" cast iron skillet. Evenly distribute the berries and sugar on top of the batter.

  6. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
