Hi, I’m Erin—welcome to Vegetarian South! My husband Eric and I (yep, Erin & Eric… we promise it wasn’t planned) started this blog to shake up our dinner routine and share a taste of our Southern adventures with you.
Here, you’ll find easy-to-follow, flavorful recipes—think plant-based spins on Southern favorites and seasonal eats—plus travel tips for the Southeast, hidden-gem vegan spots, hiking guides, and a dash of our everyday life in Chattanooga. Whether you’re a longtime vegetarian or just starting to explore plant-based meals, we hope our stories and tips make trying new foods and adventures simple and fun.
Periodically, I also provide updates on our Instagram famous cat, Bubba, as well as offer occasional book recommendations.
