Vegan Whipped Pumpkin Pecan Dip
Last updated and expanded on May 20, 2026.
What does fall taste like? To me, it tastes like cozy sweaters, crisp air, and warm pumpkin spice. If you are craving all the comforting flavors of autumn but want something light and effortless, this Vegan Whipped Pumpkin Pecan Dip is exactly what you need. It is fluffy, perfectly spiced, and takes just 10 minutes to whip up. This vegan pumpkin dip is perfect for a quick afternoon snack or a festive holiday party platter!
Why You’ll Love This Vegan Pumpkin Dip
The inspiration for this recipe came during a trip to Publix, where I spotted a tub of SoDelicious Dairy-Free Coco Whip. I immediately knew it would be the perfect base for a light, fluffy vegan pumpkin dip!
Most traditional pumpkin dessert dips you find on Pinterest are incredibly heavy. Many other dips are loaded with blocks of cream cheese and cups of powdered sugar. They taste great, but they feel a bit too rich for a casual weekday snack. This version keeps things beautifully light while packing in maximum autumn flavor:
- Healthy-Ish & Light: By swapping heavy cream cheese for dairy-free whipped topping, you get a cloud-like texture without the heavy calorie count.
- Warm PSL Flavors: It’s loaded with a cozy blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice. Giving all the flavor notes of a classic pumpkin spice latte.
- The Perfect Crunch: A handful of finely chopped pecans cuts through the creamy texture. Nuts add a wonderful, buttery crunch to every bite.

Ingredients & Simple Swaps
You only need four basic grocery staples to throw this autumn appetizer together:
- Dairy-Free Whipped Topping: I love using SoDelicious Coco Whip because it holds its fluffy texture beautifully when mixed.
- Pumpkin Puree: Make sure to grab 100% pure canned pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie mixing, which has pre-added sugars and spices.
- Maple Syrup: A single tablespoon of pure maple syrup adds a rich, caramel-like sweetness that pairs flawlessly with pumpkin.
- Warm Spices: A blend of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and allspice creates that classic pumpkin pie flavor. (Shortcut tip: You can easily swap these out for 1 full teaspoon of pre-blended pumpkin pie spice!).
- Chopped Pecans: Perfect for a rustic, Southern twist. If you have an allergy, feel free to swap them for toasted pumpkin seeds (pepitas) or leave them out entirely.
What to Serve with Pumpkin Dip
This dip is incredibly versatile and serves as the perfect centerpiece for a fall dessert board. Here are some of my favorite sweet and savory dippers to set out alongside it:
- Fresh Fruit: Crisp, tart red and green apple slices (like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith) or sweet pear slices taste incredible against the warm spices.
- Vegan Cookies: Vegan graham crackers, vegan ginger snaps, or Biscoff cookies are perfect for leaning into that “pumpkin pie in a bowl” vibe.
- A Salty Twist: If you love a sweet-and-salty combination, try dipping pretzel twists or vegan cinnamon-sugar pita chips!
