Oven Fried Cauliflower

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Mrs. Dash Southwest Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350. Convection or regular.

  2. Cut the cauliflower into bite size pieces.

  3. You need three small mixing bowls. Add the almond milk to one bowl. Add the bread crumbs to the second bowl. In the third bowl mix the flour will all the spices.

  4. Dip the cauliflower into the almond milk. Then dip it lightly into the flour mixture. Quickly dip it back into the milk. Then finish by rolling in the bread crumbs to thoroughly coat.  

  5. Place the breaded cauliflower piece on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. 

  6. Bake at 350. 40 minutes in traditional ovens. 30 minutes for convection ovens.
