Dairy Free Peaches and Cream Frozen Treats
These dairy free peaches and cream frozen treats are to die for. I love eating out of tiny little mason jars. I used small eight ounce jars. I call them half jars. They would be super cute at a backyard party or a picnic in the park. Best part is you can make them ahead of time and then just grab them out of the freezer and serve. These vegan treats need to freeze for at least two hours but you can also make them the day before and freeze them overnight. What a perfect summer treat!
Dairy Free Peaches and Cream Frozen Treats
Ingredients
- 1 overripe frozen banana
- 2 cups frozen peaches
- 1/4 cup coconut or almond milk
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed coconut milk (look for Nature's Charm can in baking section)
- 9 oz coconut whip cream (we use So Delicious Coco Whip but you can make your own)
Instructions
-
In Vitamix or high power blender combine the frozen fruit with 1/4 cup of coconut milk and 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed coconut milk. blend until smooth.
-
Divide the peach mixture evenly into four small 8oz mason jars with lids. Top the peach mixture with 3 or 4 spoonfuls of coconut whip cream. lightly press the coco whip into the top of the jar gently swirl. You don't want to mix completely. The coco whip should be a separate layer.
-
Seal up your jars and freeze for at least two hours or until ready to serve. These can be made a day in advance and freeze overnight. If you freeze longer then two hours let them sit on the counter for a few minutes to soften.
Recipe Notes
If you can't find sweetened condensed coconut milk you can make your own but the brand I bought I found in the baking section at Sprouts. Same thing goes with with the So Delicious Coco Whip you can make your own but I love this brand and have seen it in the freezer section of many stores.
