Hello!
My name is Erin and I created this blog with my husband Eric. I know, I know Erin & Eric. We didn’t plan it… It just happened.
We are Southern vegetarian bloggers who love Eating, Hiking, Yoga, and Road Trips!
We live in Birmingham, Alabama and so most of our road trips are in the Southeast United States and revolve around eating at vegan restaurants, visiting breweries, and hiking in different state and national parks.
We started Vegetarian South way back in 2012 as a way to get out of a food rut. We found ourselves eating the same old things week after week so blogging was a way to help us try cooking new foods.
We took a break from the blog for a few years but relaunched it the summer of 2017. If you go back to the content before 2017 you will notice a big change. Since then our blog has evolved into a way for us to share our adventures with you.
