Roasted Vegan Chocolate Almonds

Vegan Chocolate Almonds are perfect for any occasion but especially when you want to share something sweet with someone you love! They are so fast and easy to make. Just mix five simple ingredients together and bake for a half hour. That’s it. Simple right? Simply delicious! You won’t be able to stop eating these healthy little treats!

The roasted vegan chocolate almonds pair perfectly with fresh berries. Add some fresh fruit and you have yourself a healthy little desert tray. Not all deserts have to be overly sweet. My husband loves these just for that reason. Give him some fresh fruit and nuts to munch on and he’s a pretty happy guy.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp vegan sugar
  • 1 tbsp caco powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 300 degrees. 

  2. Mix all ingredients together to evenly coat the almonds. Then spread the nuts out on a cookie sheet. 

  3. Bake at 300 for 30 minutes. After 15 minutes at the half way mark carefully stir and flip the nuts on the baking sheet. Allow the chocolate almonds to cool before serving.
